The Yugambeh Museum

The Drumley Walk is a project of the Yugambeh Museum – Australia’s longest running and most successful Indigenous language research centre. It is open Monday to Friday, and is based in the Gold Coast Shire at Beenleigh, where it has exhibition and training facilities.

The Yugambeh Museum is dedicated to the ongoing research and preservation of the traditions and cultural heritage of our Yugambeh Elders. It is run by the Kombumerri Aboriginal Corporation for Culture, incorporated in 1984.

The Museum’s work is recognised as world standard, and it is currently working co-operatively with both the Australian National Library and the Australian National Museum for future exhibitions.
